Περιγραφή

Hamburg Muscat is a reddish grape variety. After almost 100 years of cultivation in the Tyrnavos region, it has not only become fully adapted to its surroundings, but has also officially been renamed Tyrnavos Muscat.

Dimitris Migas, on the other hand, is a man who loves his homeland. The clearest proof is his investment in a winery that is among the most technologically advanced in Greece, a huge undertaking by local standards. His allies in this venture are the region’s mild climate and the ideal drainage of his family’s 120-acre vineyard.

His experience, the distinctive terroir and a uniquely aromatic grape variety gave Dimitris Migas the inspiration to produce an aromatic white wine masterpiece. The use of the blanc de noir method, that is, making white wine from a red grape variety, gave birth to the white Tyrnavos Muscat Blanc de Noir from Migas Estate.

How did he do it? By removing the grape skins immediately after crushing, the pigments in the skins do not have time to pass into the must, leaving the wine white.

If you’ve been longing for spring, you’ll find it here in your glass. If you’re after truly fruity, floral freshness, without the lyricism of the past and with unprecedented complexity for this style, then Migas Estate’s Tyrnavos Muscat White is one you shouldn’t miss. After all, at this price, there’s no reason to.
