Περιγραφή
Vineyards on slopes at an altitude of 550 -600 m above sea level, with a southwestern exposure.
The climate is influenced by winds from the Ionian Sea and is temperate, with mild winters and cool summers.
The soils are mainly rocky limestone, infertile, sloping, and well drained.
Winemaking/Aging
A blend of the Merlot variety and the indigenous Vlachiko variety. After crushing, the must remains in contact with the skins for a few hours at a low temperature. Fermentation then takes place in temperature-controlled tanks until the end of alcoholic fermentation. The wine remains in contact with its lees for a few months, gaining structure and body.
