Red Magic Mountain brings Greece as close to Bordeaux as possible. Deep ruby color with complex aromas of red and black fruits, tobacco, and spices. One of Greece’s most sought-after red wines, it continues to impress with its aromatic complexity and cosmopolitan profile.
Nikos Lazaridis has created a timeless Greek Bordeaux blend that has long been established as one of Greece’s finest red wines. It is rich and full-bodied, with excellent structure, fine tannins, and a long finish. It is an essential wine even for the smallest collection. Red meats and game are a classic pairing for this wonderful wine.
Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Cabernet Franc 50%.
Vinification–Aging: Traditional red wine vinification with extended post-fermentation maceration and an increased grape-skin-to-must ratio, followed by 18-20 months of aging in new oak barrels and then 18 months in a reductive environment in the bottle.
Storage - Aging: Suitable for aging for 10-15 years from the harvest.
Food Pairing: Serve at 16-18˚C, with red meats in complex sauces, feathered and mountain game, as well as spicy cheeses.
