🍖 Greek Pork Shank from the Shoulder
Greek Pork Shank • Shoulder Cut • Slow Cook Star • Rich & Juicy
The Greek Pork Shank from the Shoulder is the cut that takes slow cooking to the next level. Cut from the shoulder, it has a fuller flavor and natural collagen that melts during low-temperature cooking, transforming the meat into something truly delicious: tender and juicy, with a rich sauce and an aroma that fills the house.
It's ideal for a Dutch oven, oven, or stovetop, for wine-based or lemony recipes, with mustard and honey or beer, and easily becomes the centerpiece of a Sunday dinner or an evening with friends. When cooked properly, the meat comes off the bone and can be cut with a fork.
