In summer, we don’t want heavy meals. We want something refreshing, quick, and tasty that we can easily make at home - without complicated steps.
Chicken wraps with yogurt sauce are just the thing.
A meal that combines protein, freshness, and flavor, perfect for lunch, dinner, or even to take away on an outing.
Ingredients (for 4 wraps)
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 4 tortillas (preferably whole wheat)
- 1 tomato
- 1 cucumber
- 1 lettuce
- 1 small onion (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- A little oregano or paprika
For the yogurt sauce:
- 1 small tub of strained yogurt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Juice of half a lemon
- A little garlic (optional)
- Salt & pepper
Step-by-step instructions
1. Prepare the chicken
- Cut the fillet into strips.
- Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and your spices.
- Cook in a pan or on the grill for 6–8 minutes until nicely browned and cooked through.
👉 Tip: Don’t overcook it - that way it will stay juicy.
2. Make the sauce
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you have a smooth, refreshing sauce.
👉 Tip: Chill the sauce for 10 minutes - it tastes even better.
3. Prepare the vegetables
Cut:
- the tomato, sliced
- the cucumber, cut into thin rounds
- the lettuce, cut into small pieces
4. Assemble the wraps
Spread a little sauce on the tortilla and add:
- chicken

- a little extra sauce on top
Wrap it carefully and it’s ready!
Why you’ll love it
- It’s light and refreshing
- It takes less than 20 minutes

- You can take it with you anywhere
Small variations to make it your own
- Add cheese (feta or kasseri) for a richer flavor
- Add French fries for a more “street food” result
- Replace the sauce with tzatziki
